Conrail Train Yard 1996
Without railroads Philadelphia would have not become one of the world's major manufacturing cities from the turn of the 19th century to mid century. The Conrail train yard at Pier 122 in South Philadelphia played a role in that development. Once one of the country’s largest train yards these images pay homage to the industrial wealth of that era.
