Located in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia and built in 1896 Holmesburg Prison was in continuous use until 1995.  It was the site several of controversial experiments involving inmates. It is now a crumbling building symbolic of many of the atrocities that happened there. These images were take over several visits with my friend Paul Richardson who, unfortunately, left us too soon a year later.
